The Message for Churches
The Message began as a series of writings by Eugene Peterson for his church congregation. He had discovered that they weren’t reading their Bibles or had lost interest in it. He began with Galatians and worked to create a translation that was easy to read and understand for the new believer and would recapture the excitement for someone who had read it many times. The Message is an ideal translation to give to guests in your church, take on mission trips, include in food baskets or put into Sunday school rooms.
